A prototype unit created by the five Gundam Scientists 15 years prior to the start of Operation Meteor.
Created to be the supreme Gundam, it was developed with a razor-sharp focus on performance with little thought given to ease of production or practicality.
Wielding Twin Buster Rifles powerful enough to destroy whole colonies and a cockpit equipped with a performance- enhancing Zero System, it is peerless in terms of sheer combat ability.
Development was halted due to its overwhelming destructive power and the instability of the Zero System, but it was put into action after Quatre Raberba Winner obtained the schematics and completed the suit himself.

A young agent working for the Colony Liberation Organization.
He was raised in the L1 Colony Cluster, where Doctor J gave him special training from a young age.
He is extremely skilled as a special agent, a formidable Mobile Suit pilot and also possessing superhuman physical attributes.
Taciturn and blunt, he prioritizes the mission above all else, and would die for the mission without a second thought.
Once Operation Meteor was underway in the year AC 195, he made planetfall in the Wing Gundam and began acting against OZ as an undermining force.
The name "Heero Yuy" is a code name borrowed from a hero of the independence movement. His real name is unknown.
