A prototype mobile suit developed as a testbed by S.N.R.I., a proponent of mobile suit miniaturization.
The F90 forms the base of the machine, and despite specializing in melee combat, it only comes equipped with basic weaponry, allowing excellent mobility.
However, by attaching and detaching various mission packs to the hardpoints covering its body, it can respond flexibly to a wide range of missions.

A test pilot for S.N.R.I.
He was enlisted in the Federation Forces to perform operational tests on the Gundam F90 and piloted Unit 1.
However, he was attacked by the Mars Zeon Independence Army during a test flight, and he was assigned to the Federation fleet to take part in the retaliatory mission.
On Mars, he engaged with Unit 2 and defeated it, returning home in one piece.
