Based on the general-purpose prototype mobile suit Gyan, this version was upgraded for combat deployment through the cooperation of Zimmad and Zeonic.
The major improvements were better mobility in space and a revised armament.
The missile launchers that were previously built into its shield were omitted, and instead its melee defenses were increased by changing the armor material.
Its firepower was enhanced with a distinctive prototype beam bayonet, whose tip could also be used as a beam saber.
Two completed prototypes were assigned to the flagship of Zeon's Armored Assault Force, but this machine was never mass-produced.
