The upgraded 1 Gundam.
After the 1 Gundam was heavily damaged in the battle with Fon Spaak, it was repaired and upgraded.
The twin binders on its back increase its mobility and can also be transformed into a powerful Beam Weapon called the Avalon Cannon, or ground arms called Binder Rifles, increasing its firepower as well.
It was known as the 1.5 Gundam because all of its specs were 1.5 times that of the original.
Since 1.5 looks like the letters "IS," it's also known as the I'S Gundam.

An Innovade who shares the same genetic pattern as Ribbons Almark.
He has the unique ability of copying his own personal data to other Innovades, and is therefore practically immortal.
Although he was once Ribbons' confidante, Beside ended up opposing him due to a difference of opinion regarding Aeolia's plan, and was later killed by Grave Violento.
However, his personality data remained in the 1 Gundam.
He went after Leif Recitativo, hijacked his personality to use his body, and once again started working to realize his ambitions.
