Guntank Ground Assault Type
Meant to improve the anti-MS capabilities of the RTX-44 which served as a prototype for the Guntank, this machine boasts far more weaponry than the base machine, enabling a wider variety of attacks.
Its most distinctive feature is the ability to change into assault gun form by deploying its front sub-crawler while sliding its upper body to achieve a forward-bent posture. This gives it mobility surpassing that of most mobile suits.
However, its development was halted after data on it was leaked to the Principality of Zeon.
This prevented mass production and forced the Federation Forces to self-destruct the remaining prototypes in order to maintain secrecy.
