A mobile suit for Newtypes assigned to the Federation's Londo Bell task force during the Second Neo Zeon War.
Originally developed by Anaheim Electronics at its Von Braun factory, this new MS was arranged for by the Londo Bell commander Bright Noa.
Its basic design is an updated average of all previous Gundam types, with an emphasis on reliability and resilience.
The resulting free space was used to surround the cockpit with psycho-frame material obtained from a captured Neo Zeon MS.
This revolutionary material incorporates computer chips with basic psycommu functionality, permitting the control of special Newtype weapons known as fin funnels.
Combining three or more fin funnels allows them to be used as a beam weapon-nullifying I-Field generator.
Thanks to these high-performance psycommu weapons, this is the first Gundam type to be a full-spec Newtype machine.
